Forest School​

At Stepping Stones Pre-school, our Forest School program offers a unique, nature-based learning experience that immerses children in the great outdoors. Rooted in the belief that children learn best through hands-on exploration and play, our Forest School fosters a deep connection with nature while developing essential life skills.

​Our Forest School takes place at the playing fields on the outskirts of Clipston village on the border between Northamptonshire and Leicestershire. We are incredibly grateful to the Clipston Playing Fields Association for the use of this space.

In our Forest School, children spend time outside in all seasons, discovering the wonders of the natural world. They learn to appreciate and respect the environment, while engaging in activities that promote physical development, creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork. From building shelters and identifying plants to observing wildlife and practicing outdoor safety, every session is an adventure filled with opportunities for growth.

Forest School sessions are only offered to children aged 3 and over.​
